Phil's Handy Service was great.  I came home recently to find that my back door had been badly damaged and needed to be rehung. Phil promptly returned my call and was very understanding to my situation (I did not have a way to close my door and could not leave my house.) He arrived within 20 minutes and completed the job, even better and more secure than the builder. He used screws that actually were rated for the weight of the door that the builder installed. He charged me what I thought was a very fair rate for an emergency call on a holiday.  I highly recommend Phil and will definitely use him again in the future. 

Someone already said it best when they said "Phil is simply the best" - he truly is.  I found Phil online 2.5 years ago when I first moved to Tampa and needed a handyman for odd jobs around my recently purchased home.  Phil fixed my garbage disposal.  The previous owner did a sloppy job with the pipes - Phil was able to re-do the piping and install the new garbage disposal so it was not such a mess under my sink.  Phil also came out when I suspected there was a water intrusion (leak) in my house.  Phil used an inferred gun to inspect my house.  He was able to identify issues and potential issues.  Phil is no BS and will shoot you straight.  After getting to know Phil over the past 2.5 years, he is just a good dude (Midwest "boy" like me) - honest, trustworthy, and dependable.  If he cannot do a job, he will recommend someone that can.  And if he does not know someone that is good, he will tell you.  Phil will soon begin work on remodeling our shower and bathroom which is aging and needs to be repaired.  He has become a trusted advisor and I am glad I found him.  I would highly recommend him. 

 I relied entirely on Google reviews to choose Phil and it was the right choice.  I needed repairs to a recently purchased property.  Phil went above and beyond what was requested for a fair price, and even repaired some extras including some fencing.  He quoted me the price before he started the work and followed through on this quote.  Everything was fixed to my satisfaction and he did it quickly.  He even notified me of a danger to our home and took action to protect our home.  He also gave me some great tips on who to contact for items outside the scope of his work. 

 I will be using Phil again. 

I have used Phil's Handy Service  for over 12 years. Phil has always been outstanding.  His work is perfect every time.  Phil is prompt, he is very reasonable and always does the little extras just cause he is that kind of guy.  And did I mention he is always in the greatest mood.  I cannot say enough about this man and his talent.  He just went to Home Depot for me and called to see if I had thought of anything else he could get for me.  That's Phil.
Please, do not look any further.  Phil's is the ONLY one to call!! 

 I had the great pleasure of meeting Phil yesterday as he responded quickly and professionally to my request for an estimate of several home repair items. His system for submitting and requesting repair estimates  is very user friendly.  He spent the time educating me as well as recommending the best solutions to repairing the items I was seeking an estimate on.  He came back today Friday, February 10 and completed the job with the upmost level of professionalism and has a high regard for doing a good job.  I have not seen such a high level of work ethic in a very long time.  He went over and above after we ran into a slight problem... spending more time trying to address the issue which was not included in our agreement.  I can go on and on, but want to end it with saying I was very pleased with his work and would use him again as well as  recommend him to friends and family. 

We are so very pleased with our front door installation! Phil is very professional, knowledgeable, repsonds very quickly and is VERY detailed in his work. We would highly recommend his services!
